CAUTION: Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn the breaker OFF.

Indoor unit, Outdoor unit and Remote controller

Ensure the following precautions are taken

Wait 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to initiate forced cooling operation

Open front grille by pulling protrusions on left and right sides of panel

Lift center section of air filter and disengage hooks

Remove air filter by pulling forward

Verify left and right filters are interchangeable

Operate the fan only mode for several hours on a fine day to dry out the inside.

Press MODE button and select fan operation.

Press ON/OFF button and start operation.

Filter and Remote Controller Maintenance

Clean the air filters and set them again.

Take out batteries from the remote controller.

Turn OFF the breaker for the room air conditioner.

With the power ON, operation OFF, and the connector connected, check the following

Output voltage of about 5 V between pins 1 and 3

Generation of 3 pulses between pins 2 and 3 when the fan motor is operating

If the output voltage check fails, is the PCB faulty?

If the pulse generation check fails, is the Hall IC faulty?

If both checks fail, is the PCB faulty?

Measure the power supply waveform between pins 1 and 3 on the terminal board

Is the power supply waveform a sine wave?

Is there waveform disturbance near the zero cross?
