Open the front grille by holding the tabs on both sides and lifting until it clicks.

Remove the front grille by supporting it with one hand and sliding down the knob with the other hand.

Wipe the front grille with a soft cloth soaked in water.

Use only neutral detergent for cleaning.

If washed with water, dry the grille with a cloth and then in the shade.

Set the 3 keys of the front grille into the slots and push them in all the way.

Ensure all power supplies are turned off for at least 10 minutes before starting disassembly.

Disconnect the connection wires.

Disconnect connectors of fan motor

Ensure the retainer of the thermistor does not touch the harness.

Disconnect connector (S6) of swing motor.

Warning: Wait 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Opening and closing of service cover

Remove a service cover mounting screw.

Removal of front grille assembly

Remove the two screws fixing the main body with the front grille.

Disengage the two hooks on the upper part.

Remove the front panel and then remove the grille while pushing the hook through a clearance between the front grille and the heat exchanger.

Pull out the upper part of the grille forward and lift up the lower part to remove it.

Select the cleaning method used for the air filters

Was neutral detergent used for cleaning?

Were the air filters dried in the shade?

Stop the operation of the air conditioner

Indoor Unit, Outdoor Unit, and Remote Controller Cleaning

Wipe all units with a dry soft cloth

Ensure the following precautions are observed

Is the front grille securely fixed after cleaning?
