Shoe Adjustment
Safety Precautions
Ensure blade is placed on jack stands to prevent unexpected drops.
Confirm no unused spacers are stored on top of the shoe holder.
Blade Positioning
Raise the blade 1 foot off the road surface.
Turn the control OFF.
Place jack stands under the cutting edge from in front of the blade.
Blade Lowering
Turn the control ON and lower the blade onto the jack stands or blocking.
Postseason Snowplow Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Ensure trip springs are serviced by authorized personnel only
Coat all electrical connections with dielectric grease
Blade and Attachments Maintenance
Clean blade and attachments
Paint blade and attachments as needed
Hydraulic System Maintenance
Ensure lift ram is fully collapsed
Apply petroleum grease to exposed chrome surfaces of the rams
Scrape Lock Adjustment
Preparation
Park the vehicle on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as concrete.
Lower the blade to the ground and turn the control OFF.
Leave the snowplow attached to the vehicle.
Turn the vehicle ignition to the 'OFF' position.
Initial Disconnection and Setup
Disconnect the snowplow battery cable from the vehicle battery cable.
Remove the hydraulic unit cover.
Loosen the breather/fill plug slowly to relieve any pressure in the reservoir.
Blade Drop Speed Adjustment

Lower the blade to the ground before making the adjustment.
Access Hydraulic Unit
Remove the hydraulic unit cover.
