Honda Choke Adjustment
Initial Inspection
Move throttle control to full choke position
Is the choke fully closing when engaged?
Choke Adjustment
Turn choke adjusting screw counterclockwise (5 to 7 turns)
Does the choke rod have movement when attempting to move it towards the choke adjusting screw?
Return the choke adjusting screw to its original position or clockwise until it touches choke lever

Does the choke rod still have movement after adjusting the screw?

Disconnect the battery cables
Observe and mark the electric throttle position on the engine mount

Disconnect the brown and red spreader harness wires from the electric throttle motor leads
Removal
Remove the 1/4" fasteners holding the electric throttle bracket to the engine mount
Remove the #6 fasteners holding the electric throttle motor to the bracket
Remove the electric throttle motor

Initial Setup
Record the current engine RPM
Enter the current gate position
Baffle Adjustment
Select the desired adjustment
Verify the following adjustments have been made
Post Adjustment Verification
Is the spread pattern satisfactory?
Is the amount of material dispensed appropriate?
1 Monthly Drive Chain / Spinner Belt / Conveyor Chain Tension Maintenance
Drive Sprocket and Clutch Sprocket Inspection
Verify drive sprocket set screws are tight.
Verify clutch sprocket mounting bolts are tight.
Visual Inspection
Inspect drive chain for wear and replace if worn.
Inspect spinner belt for cracks and wear and replace if cracked or worn.
Belt and Chain Tension Maintenance
Measure belt and chain deflection midway between pulleys/sprockets (should be 1/4"–5/16").
Loosen engine mount bolts to adjust engine chain tension.
