Pull out the expiratory valve core component (2)

Use a suitable tool to remove the end cover (3) and the gasket (4)

Remove the scale board (5) and the diaphragm (6)

Rotate the water trap (7), then pull it out

Intermediate Level Disinfectant Usage

Select the intermediate level disinfectant used

Select the high level disinfectant used

Ensure only appropriate detergents and disinfectants are used

Specify any additional cleaning agents or disinfectants used, if applicable

Calibration and Usage Guidelines

Refer to section 8.2.2 for calibration interval.

Ensure the oxygen sensor is not exposed to high-concentration oxygen when not in use.

Sensor Validity and Replacement

Check if the oxygen sensor is within the 12-month validity period.

Contact the manufacturer if the oxygen sensor fails.

Ensure the oxygen sensor is not immersed in liquid.

Ensure no autoclave or high temperature fumigation is conducted on the oxygen sensor.

Verify battery module specifications

Battery Charging and Discharging

Is the battery fully charged before patient use?

Connect ventilator to AC power for at least 3.5 hours if battery is not fully charged

Is the 'Low battery' alarm active?

Restore AC power supply immediately if 'Low battery' alarm is active

Charge battery fully before long-term storage

Open outward (1), and then remove the cover. Refer to Figure 8-6.

Turn the oxygen sensor (3) anticlockwise, and then remove it.

Inspect the oxygen sensor for damage.

Was the oxygen sensor replaced?
