Unplug the device from the power source

Clean the outer heat sink according to the instructions in the device’s installation guide

Inspect the heat sink for any remaining debris

Is the heat sink free of debris?

Navigate to Settings > System > Maintenance > PTZ status

Click on Test to initiate PTZ mechanism test

Were any errors reported during the PTZ test?

If errors were reported, navigate to Settings > System > Maintenance > Reports

Contact axis.com/support and describe the issue

Specify the screws that are loose

Tighten the loose screws according to the torque values in the device’s installation guide

Ensure the gas cylinder is filled with Nitrogen

Set the regulator gauge on the gas cylinder to 0.5 bar (7 psi)

Remove the caps from the inlet valve and the pressure relief valve

Place the chuck on the inlet valve and press down to fill the camera with nitrogen

Verify that the gas is flowing out by placing your hand over the pressure relief valve

Lift the pressure relief valve to let the overpressure out of the camera unit

Inspect the dome cover for scratches

Inspect the dome cover for cracks

Are there severe scratches or cracks on the dome cover?

Refer to the device’s installation guide for dome cover replacement instructions

Order a replacement dome cover from an Axis reseller if necessary
