Maintenance and Service — Air Filters

Turn off the main power to the system

Ensure none of the following are used

Remove the air filters by pulling the tab slightly forward

Avoid touching the metal parts of the indoor unit when removing the air filter

Choose cleaning method for air filter

Dry the air filter well in the shade after washing

Avoid exposing the air filter to direct sunlight or heat from a fire when drying

Maintenance and Service — When the air conditioner is not going to be used for a long time

Check for any visible damage or wear

Record any maintenance issues found

Maintenance and Service — When the air conditioner is to be used again

Operate the air conditioner in Fan operation mode for 2 to 3 hours

Clean the air filter and install it in the indoor unit

Check that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked

Is the ground wire connected correctly?

Turn the system off before cleaning

Ensure no bleach or abrasives are used

Disconnect supply power before cleaning the indoor unit
