Maintenance and Service — Air Filters

Turn off the main power to the system

Ensure none of the following are used

Remove the air filters by pulling the tab slightly forward

Avoid touching the metal parts of the indoor unit when removing the air filter

Clean dirt from the air filter using one of the following methods

Was a neutral detergent used in lukewarm water if dirt was conspicuous?

Ensure hot water (50 °C or more) was not used

Dry the air filter well in the shade

Maintenance and Service — When the air conditioner is to be used again

Operate the air conditioner in Fan operation mode for 2 to 3 hours

Clean the air filter and install it in the indoor unit

Check that the air inlet and outlet of the units are not blocked

Is the ground wire connected correctly?

Turn the system off before cleaning

Ensure no bleach or abrasives are used

Disconnect supply power before cleaning the indoor unit

Maintenance and Service — When the air conditioner is not going to be used for a long time

Ensure the following components are clean and free of dirt

Is the area around the air conditioner clear of obstructions?

Inspect the condition of the electrical wiring

Notes on any issues found during inspection
