AXIS PTZ Network Camera P5514/-E

Navigate to Settings > System > Maintenance > PTZ status

Click on Test to initiate PTZ mechanism test

Were any errors reported during the PTZ test?

Navigate to Settings > System > Maintenance > Reports

Click on Download the server report

Inspect the dome cover for scratches

Inspect the dome cover for cracks

Are there severe scratches or cracks on the dome cover?

Refer to the device’s installation guide for dome cover replacement instructions

Order a replacement dome cover from an Axis reseller

Turn off the device and unplug it from the power source

Gather cleaning materials (soft brush, compressed air, and lint-free cloth)

Clean the outer heat sink using a soft brush to remove loose dust and debris

Use compressed air to blow out any remaining dust from the heat sink fins

Wipe the outer surface of the heat sink with a lint-free cloth

Is the heat sink free of dust and debris?

Bracket Inspection and Cleaning

Inspect the bracket for insects and dirt

Remove any insects and dirt from the bracket

Is the camera installed on an Axis bracket?

Install AXIS T91A6 Pipe Seal inside the bracket

Set the regulator gauge on the gas cylinder to 0.5 bar (7 psi)

Remove the caps from the inlet valve and the pressure relief valve

Place the chuck on the inlet valve and press down to fill the camera with nitrogen

Verify that the gas is flowing out by placing your hand over the pressure relief valve

Lift the pressure relief valve to let the overpressure out of the camera unit

Repeat the filling process a total of 3 times, leaving the camera pressurized the last time
