Clean the inlet screen (IS) if necessary

Replace the inlet filter cartridge if necessary

Select the type of spare inlet filter cartridge used

Have a major overhaul on the machine (contact Busch)

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment if the machine is contaminated with hazardous material

Decontaminate the machine if it has conveyed gas contaminated with foreign materials hazardous to health

State the contamination status in a 'Declaration of Contamination'

Download and complete the 'Declaration of Contamination' from buschvacuum.com/declaration-of-contamination

Ensure any disassembly beyond the manual is carried out by Busch-approved technicians

Enter the operating hours since last oil change

Is the operating condition borderline?

Stop the machine and lock it to prevent accidental start-up

Vent the connected lines to atmospheric pressure

Are all connections disconnected, if necessary?

Clean the machine from dust and dirt

Check the coupling (CPL) for backlash and wear

Stop the machine and lock it to prevent accidental start-up

Vent the connected lines to atmospheric pressure

Disconnect all connections if necessary

8.3 Cleaning from Dust and Dirt

Clean the ventilation grilles, cooling fins and inlet screen (IS)

Ensure the machine has cooled down before touching

Check the oil level, see Oil Level Inspection

Fill up if necessary, see Filling Oil
