Ensure no open flames or sparks are present

Wash hands after handling battery components

Remove negative battery cable first

Remove battery vent tube (standard battery only)

Check for damage on suspension components

Check for loose components in the suspension system

Is the suspension adjusted for operational needs and riding preference?

Are the front shock springs adjusted for proper ski pressure?

Is the skid frame front arm limiter strap length adjusted for desired ski pressure?

Are the rear springs adjusted for load carrying capability and riding preference?

Removing/Installing Spark Plugs

Remove the two torx-head screws securing the console.

Lift the rearward end of the console and disconnect the main/hood harness connector; then remove the console.

Remove the spark plug caps from the plugs.

Using a spark plug wrench, remove the plugs.

Install the plugs and finger-tighten.

Tighten the spark plugs to 19 ft-lb.

Place the console into position on the headlight support bracket keeping the rearward end slightly elevated; then connect the main/hood harness connector.

Check for binding, leakage, and proper operation

Inspect brake components for wear or damage

Is the brake fluid visible in the sight glass?

Ensure sight glass reservoir is in a level position

Check the brake fluid level in the sight glass

Is the brake fluid not visible in the sight glass?

Measure the outside circumference of the drive belt

Measure the outside width of the drive belt

Check the belt for cracking, fraying, etc.

Place a straightedge on the top of the drive belt

Measure the deflection of the drive belt

Is the drive belt deflection within the recommended range?
