Check for fluid leakage on shock absorbers

Measure the wear strips at 25.4 cm (10 in.) intervals

Enter the thickness of the wear strips

Is the wear strip thickness 10.7 mm (0.42 in.) or thicker?

Is replacement of both wear strips necessary?

Record decision to take the snowmobile to an authorized Arctic Cat Snowmobile dealer

Drive the snowmobile for approximately a mile on a hard pack trail to warm up the wear strips

Inspect ski wear bars for visible wear and damage

Are the ski wear bars worn beyond 1/2 of the original diameter?

Recommend replacement if wear bars are worn beyond 1/2 of the original diameter

Acknowledge the warning about operating with worn ski wear bars

Mechanical Fasteners Inspection

Check nuts, bolts, and fasteners for tightness

Measure the outside circumference of the drive belt

Measure the outside width of the drive belt

Check the belt for cracking, fraying, etc.

Place a straightedge on the top of the drive belt

Measure the drive belt deflection

Is the drive belt deflection within the recommended range?

Adjust drive belt deflection if necessary
