Check for damage and loose components

Measure the front shock spring tension

Is the front shock spring tension adjusted for operational needs and riding preference?

Adjust the length of the skid frame front arm limiter straps

Is the ski pressure adjusted correctly?

Check the stop switch for proper operation

Check steering system for issues

Check headlights and taillights/brakelights for issues

Measure the outside circumference of the drive belt

Measure the outside width of the drive belt

Check the belt for cracking, fraying, etc.

Place a straightedge on the top of the drive belt

Measure the drive belt deflection

Is the drive belt deflection within the recommended range?

Adjust drive belt deflection if necessary

Measure wear strips at 25.4 cm (10 in.) intervals

Enter the thickness of the wear strips

Are all wear strips 10.7 mm (0.42 in.) thick or thicker?

Is replacement of wear strips necessary?

Take the snowmobile to an authorized Arctic Cat Snowmobile dealer for wear strips replacement

Drive the snowmobile for approximately a mile on a hard pack trail to warm up the wear strips

Check for fluid leakage on shock absorbers

Inspect shock absorbers for any visible damage

Verify that front (ski) shock springs are not adjustable

Ensure equal adjustments on both sides of the snowmobile

Rotate the entire spring to adjust spring tension as desired
