Check for the following in the oil system

Check the stop switch for proper operation

Check the steering system for the following

Ensure no open flames or sparks are present

Wash hands after handling battery components

Remove negative battery cable first

Remove battery vent tube (standard battery only)

Check for binding, leakage, and proper operation

Inspect brake components for wear or damage

Is the brake fluid visible in the sight glass?

Ensure sight glass reservoir is in a level position

Check if the sight glass appears dark (indicating sufficient fluid)

Is the brake fluid not visible in the sight glass?

Mechanical Fasteners Inspection

Check nuts, bolts, and fasteners for tightness

Check for fluid leakage on shock absorbers

Inspect shock absorbers for any visible damage

Verify that front (ski) shock springs are not adjustable

Ensure equal adjustments on both sides of the snowmobile

Adjust front (ski) shock springs for terrain conditions and driving style

Describe any adjustments made to the spring tension
