Release probes by pushing pins in

Pull down, then lift up to remove probe

Clean all dirt and scale from the housing

Clean entire probe, ensuring circled area is clean

Push and release the Harvest button to check the Hot Gas indicator light.

Did the Harvest Assist Solenoid or Motor get powered?

Is the ice on the evaporator thin and did the ejection pin extend?

Is the ice nearly full sized and did the pin press against the ice until it released from the evaporator?

Did the pin extend after the ice released?

Note: The coil of this valve is internally rectified, and will normally show infinite resistance when tested with an ohmmeter.

Voltage Check for Harvest Assist Solenoid

Unplug the high voltage harness from the harvest assist solenoid.

Test using the controller's indicator lights

Test the controller's curtain switch circuit

Test using the controller's indicator light

Ensure the machine is ready for cleaning

Check that the indicator light is on

Push the Clean button to drain and refill the reservoir

Add nickel safe ice machine scale remover

Did the Sump Empty light switch on?

If not, push off, un-snap the Water Level Sensor, lift slightly, then push Clean again

Remove the ice thickness sensor from the water distributor bracket.

Separate the metal sensor from the plastic insulator-bracket.

Wipe the sensor with diluted ice machine scale remover.

Scrub the plastic insulator-bracket with diluted ice machine scale remover to remove all traces of mineral build up.

Wipe the wire to the bulkhead with diluted ice machine scale remover.

Wash all ice thickness sensor parts with clean water.
