Ensure the cleaning indicator light is on

Prepare nickel safe ice machine scale remover

Push the Clean button to drain and refill the reservoir

Add nickel safe ice machine scale remover

Did the Sump Empty light switch on?

If Sump Empty light did not switch on, push off, un-snap the Water Level Sensor, lift slightly, then push Clean again

Test using the controller's indicator lights

Test the controller's curtain switch circuit

Test using the controller's indicator light

Is the indicator light On during the freeze cycle?

Is the water pump operating when the indicator light is On?

Measure voltage to the water pump

Measure voltage from the controller to ground at pin 6

Is there voltage at pin 6 to ground?

Is the voltage very low at the pump motor?

Check controller for sensor calibration code

Open control box cover and unplug sensor from J6

Measure the temperature of the water

Push and release the clean button

Measure the resistance of the water probe and compare to chart

Measure the temperature of the discharge line

Measure the resistance of the discharge temperature sensor and compare to chart

Alternate procedure for sensor testing

Observe the Ready To Harvest light

Connect the metal part of the Ice Thickness sensor to the evaporator or touch its metal surface to the metal control box wall

Did the Ready for Harvest light turn ON?

Unplug the ice thickness sensor lead from the controller
