Ensure the machine is powered on

Press the Clean button to start Manual Harvest

Did the machine drain the reservoir and refill it?

Add nickel safe ice machine scale remover when A d 1 blinks

Did the controller circulate and flush out the scale remover?

Remove the ice thickness sensor from the water distributor bracket.

Separate the metal sensor from the plastic insulator-bracket.

Wipe the sensor with diluted ice machine scale remover.

Scrub the plastic insulator-bracket with diluted ice machine scale remover to remove all traces of mineral build up.

Wipe the wire to the bulkhead with diluted ice machine scale remover.

Wash all ice thickness sensor parts with clean water.

Push and release the Harvest button to activate the Hot Gas indicator light.

Did the ejection pin extend when the ice was thin or after pressing against nearly full-sized ice?

Is there full voltage at the harness connector when the Harvest button is pressed?

Is there voltage from pin 5 to ground at the controller?

Describe any issues found during the Harvest Assist testing.

Ensure the unit is running or has been off for more than 4 minutes before testing.

Push and release the Harvest button to activate the Hot Gas indicator light.

Ensure unit is powered up and water is in the sump. Add water manually if needed.

Locate water level sensor and release from sump cover.

Lift sensor until mid-length probe is out of the water.

Did the sump empty light turn ON?

If unit is on, did the inlet water solenoid valve open?

Return water level sensor to normal position.

If unit is on and calling for ice, did the sump full light switch ON?

Shut unit off by holding the Off button for 3 seconds

Is the Water Solenoid indicator light ON?

Shut the unit down by holding the Off button for 3 seconds

Unplug the harness connection from the inlet water valve
