Shut unit off by holding the Off button for 3 seconds

Is the Water Solenoid indicator light ON?

Shut the unit down by holding the Off button for 3 seconds

Unplug the harness connection from the inlet water valve

Push and release the Harvest button to check the Hot Gas indicator light.

Is the Harvest Assist Solenoid or Motor powered?

Does the ejection pin extend if the ice on the evaporator is thin?

Does the pin press against the ice until it releases from the evaporator, then extend if the ice is nearly full sized?

If the pin extends, is the solenoid or motor good?

Note: The coil of this valve is internally rectified and will normally show infinite resistance when tested with an ohmmeter.

Voltage Check for Harvest Assist

Unplug the high voltage harness from the harvest assist solenoid.

Release probes by pushing pins in

Pull down, then lift up to remove probe

Clean all dirt and scale from the housing

Clean entire probe, ensuring circled area is clean

Ensure the model is a remote model

Refer to the machine wiring diagram as needed

Controller Test Mode Activation

Is the Condenser Fan motor indicator light on?

Test using the controller’s indicator light

Observe the Ready To Harvest light

Connect the metal part of the Ice Thickness sensor to the evaporator or touch its metal surface to the metal control box wall

Did the Ready for Harvest light turn ON?

Unplug the ice thickness sensor lead from the controller
