Performing checks after commissioning — After the first 3 operating hours

Check that all the parts are in place

Re-tighten screws if necessary after the machine has cooled down

Is the intake pressure valve operating correctly?

Correct the oil level if necessary

Are the sheaves aligned correctly?

Correct the sheaves alignment if necessary

Is the condition of the belts satisfactory?

Ensure the machine has a gas-tight shaft seal (optional)

Has the machine operated for 500 hours?

Allow housing surfaces to cool to ambient temperature

Press the grease by turning the Stauffer lubricator

Enter the number of turns for the Stauffer lubricator

Maintenance schedule for normal operation

Check the alignment of the sheaves

Check for unusual wear and tear or obvious damage

Check for correct alignment and stability

If necessary, replace the sheaves

Ensure the equipment has been operating for at least 30 minutes to reach optimal temperature for oil change.

Is the discharge temperature over 140 °C?

Follow the full oil filling procedure as described in Initial 500 Hours Lube Oil Change.

Verify that there are no oil leaks after the procedure.
