Check that all components are in place

Ensure the ventilation pipe in the oil filling container is unobstructed

Fill 3/4 of the listed quantity of oil

Wait for 5 - 10 minutes for oil to settle

Check and adjust the lube oil level on the machine stage's oil level displays

Fill the rest of the lube oil up to the mark on the acoustic hood's sight glass

Performing checks after commissioning

Check and correct oil level if necessary

Check and correct alignment of the sheaves if necessary

Check and correct oil level if necessary

Check and correct alignment of the sheaves if necessary

Maintenance schedule for normal operation

Check operation hours or months since last oil change

Is the discharge temperature over 140 °C?

Replace the lube oil if temperature is over 140 °C

Follow the full oil draining and filling procedure as described in Initial 500 Hours Lube Oil Change

Checking the inlet and exhaust air openings on the acoustic hood

Visual inspection of the supply air and exhaust air openings on the acoustic hood

Clean the openings. Remove dirt

Check the direction of flow in the operating position with a closed acoustic hood

Is exhaust air extracted from the acoustic hood?

Replace the fan if no exhaust air emerges from the acoustic hood
