Read and understand all instructions before installation.

Ensure proof pressure limits are not exceeded.

Verify ambient temperature does not exceed 176°F (80°C).

Consider using a pressure snubber if severe pressure surges are expected.

Select the appropriate mounting method

Use a wrench on pressure connection wrench flat for pressure models.

Mount differential pressure models against a rigid support.

Disconnect all supply circuits before wiring product

Ensure wiring is in accordance with local and national electrical codes

Protect wires against mechanical damage using a conduit or other suitable means

Electrical Ratings and Approvals

Verify electrical ratings do not exceed those stated in the literature and on the product housing

Confirm DIN connector (Option M515, Figure 4) is not used in Class I, Div. 1 hazardous locations/flameproof atmospheres

Ensure external grounding screw (Option M460) is used for non-metallic conduit systems (See Figure 2)

Connect control to pressure source

Slide cover toward electrical terminations while twisting to overcome friction

Connect power to terminals or leads

Adjust pressure switch set point

Insert screwdriver into adjustment slot

Turn screwdriver clockwise to increase setting or counter clockwise to decrease setting

For setting on RISE, apply desired pressure and turn adjustment clockwise until switch actuates

For setting on FALL, apply pressure equal to normal system operating pressure, reduce source pressure to setpoint value, and turn adjustment counter clockwise until switch actuates
