5 Yearly Chamber Observation Window Replacement
DANGER! Turn OFF the main power and disconnect the plant-side power supply (breaker)
WARNING! Replace the window at regular intervals (once every 5 years). Stop using the machine and replace the window immediately in any of the following cases: When damaged, When cracked, When hit with a strong impact, When visibility of the window cannot be secured.
NOTE! Please contact the Mori Seiki Service Department and obtain specified parts when replacing the window. The machining chamber observation window is a consumable and is not covered by the warranty.
Main power turned OFF?
Window frame plate removed?
Old window removed?
Silicon on the window frame plate removed?
Oil- and heat-resistant silicon applied to the edges of outside face of the new window?
New window mounted?
2000 Hourly Pneumatic Device Filter Replacement
WARNING! Turn OFF the main power
Turn OFF the main power
Rotate the valve CW to shut off the compressed air supply
Turn the manual drain cock in the counterclockwise direction to release residual pressure
Confirm the pressure gage indicates 0 MPa
Inspect/replace the air filter element
Removing Air Filter Assembly Case
Slide the lock button downward and rotate the assembly case 45 degrees CW or CCW
Pull the assembly case downward to remove
500 Hourly Line Filter Cleaning
WARNING! Turn OFF the main power
Main power turned OFF
Line filter removed
CAUTION! Protective glasses must be worn to prevent eye damage from dust or foreign matter (those who are wearing glasses included)
Filter element cleaned with kerosene and blown compressed air through
Is the filter element badly fouled or damaged?
Line filter remounted
Sign off on the line filter cleaning
500 Hourly Suction Filter and Fill Port Filter Cleaning
WARNING! Turn OFF the main power
Main power turned OFF
Suction filter and fill port filter removed
CAUTION! Protective glasses must be worn to prevent eye damage form dust or foreign matter (those who are wearing glasses included)
Suction filter and fill port filter cleaned with kerosene and blown compressed air
Lubricating unit remounted
Lubricant supplied
Sign off on the filter cleaning
1 Daily Pressure Gauge Check
Turn OFF the main power and control power supplies
NOTE! Confirm all machine operations have come to a complete stop
Confirm that the digital pressure display indicates 3.5 MPa
