Wear heat-resistant protective gloves.
Remove flammable substances from the danger zone.
Preparation Check
Bearing Assembly
Select lubrication model for bearing assembly
Heat up deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 in an oil bath to approx. 80°C (Oil-lubricated models only)
Slide deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 onto shaft 210 until it will not go any further.
Carefully slide pre-assembled shaft 210 with deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 into bearing bracket 330.

Use suitable transport devices, lifting equipment and lifting tackle to move heavy assemblies or components.
General Reassembly Guidelines
Reassemble the pump set in accordance with the general rules of sound engineering practice.
Use original spare parts only.
Reassemble the pump according to the general assembly drawing.
Sealing Elements
Gaskets
Use new gaskets with the same thickness as the old ones.
The Economy Bearing Assembly Dismantling
Observe and carry out notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 to Section 7.4.7
Push shaft 210 with deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 out of the bearing bracket
Heat up the deep-groove ball bearing to 80°C and pull it off shaft 210
Dispose of joint rings 400.01/.02
Initial 300 Hours Rolling Element Bearing Oil Change
DANGER — Excessive Temperatures
Acknowledge the danger of excessive temperatures and explosion hazards due to hot bearings or defective seals.
Check the condition of the lubricant regularly
Oil Change Intervals
Select the operating temperature range for oil change
Enter the operating hours since last oil change
Oil Quality Requirements
Verify oil quality according to DIN 51517
Measure kinematic viscosity at 40 °C
Shaft Seal Removal
Removing the mechanical seal - cylindrical casing cover
Ensure preliminary steps are completed
Unscrew hexagon nuts 920.02 and push back seal cover 471 (if fitted)
Unscrew hexagon nuts 920.04, if any
Remove casing cover 161 from bearing bracket 330
Pull complete mechanical seal 433 with shaft protecting sleeve 524.01, seal cover 471 and thrower 507.01 off shaft 210

Ensure preliminary steps are completed
Pull shaft sleeve 524.01 with the rotating assembly of mechanical seal 433 off the shaft
