8.5.2 Period of Time to Supply Grease

Supply grease to the R-axis every 6 months

Ensure no fluorine-based grease is used

8.5.3 How to Supply the Grease — Procedures to Supply Grease on ZR Axis

Take out the rubber cap on the bottom of the side of the ZR-axis

Confirm the grease nipple while the R-axis is at the home-position (Position 0)

Supply grease using a grease gun while the R-axis is at home-position (Position 0)

Hold the ZR-axis or turn the servo on during grease supply

8.5.2 Period of Time to Supply Grease

Has the equipment been stored for 6 months or more?

Check if the existing grease is degraded.

Supply grease to the following axes

Use Idemitsu Kosan Daphne Grease MP No.2 or equivalent (e.g. Showa Shell Oil Albania Grease No. 2, Mobil Oil Mobilux 2)

8.5.2 Period of Time to Supply Grease

Reference period of time to supply grease based on speed

Is the grease supply period based on operation distance or months reached earlier?

Use Idemitsu Kosan Daphne Grease MP No.2 or equivalent

Ensure no fluorine-based grease is used

Move the slider to expose the grease nipple

Confirm fan replacement is due after approximately three years of 24-hour operation at 40°C

Gather required tools and replacement parts

Remove the screws on the rear panel at the back of the main unit

Slide the rear panel slightly towards you

Remove the screws on the module plate

Take off the connector equipped on the fan unit

Period of Time to Supply Grease

Supply grease once in 3 months after the start of first operation after delivery.

Ensure no fluorine-based grease is used

Move the slider until the grease nipple on the slider can be seen in the supply inlet

Put the grease gun into the grease supply inlet and supply grease on the grease nipple

Move the slider back and forth with hand several times
