Supply grease to the R-axis every 6 months
Ensure no fluorine-based grease is used
8.5.3 How to Supply the Grease — Procedures to Supply Grease on ZR Axis
Required Tool
Take out the rubber cap on the bottom of the side of the ZR-axis
Confirm the grease nipple while the R-axis is at the home-position (Position 0)
Supply grease using a grease gun while the R-axis is at home-position (Position 0)
Hold the ZR-axis or turn the servo on during grease supply
Post-Storage Lubrication

Has the equipment been stored for 6 months or more?
Check if the existing grease is degraded.
Supply grease to the following axes
Use Idemitsu Kosan Daphne Grease MP No.2 or equivalent (e.g. Showa Shell Oil Albania Grease No. 2, Mobil Oil Mobilux 2)
Timing Belt Inspection

Remove the pulley cover and visually inspect the belt
Check for obvious friction in the gear and belt area
Check for swelling due to oil adhesion
Inspect for cracks on the belt gear and back side
Check if the belt is broken
Contact IAI if the belt needs replacement

Remove the screws on the module plate
Take off the connector equipped on the fan unit
