8.5.3 How to Supply the Grease — Procedures to Supply Grease on ZR Axis

Take out the rubber cap on the bottom of the side of the ZR-axis

Confirm the grease nipple while the R-axis is at the home-position (Position 0)

Supply grease using a grease gun while the R-axis is at home-position (Position 0)

Hold the ZR-axis or turn the servo on during grease supply

Period of Time to Supply Grease

Check if the equipment has been stored for 6 months or more

Supply grease to X, Y, and Z Axes

Recommended fan replacement period

Ensure you have a Phillips screwdriver

Ensure you have the replacement fan unit

Remove the screws on the rear panel at the back of the main unit

Slide the rear panel slightly towards you
