Is the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' message displayed?

Inspect the heavy-duty air filter for visible damage or wear.

Remove the air filter from the unit.

Reinstall the air filter into the unit.

Wash the air filter thoroughly.

Ensure the unit is completely off and no air pressure is in the oil reservoir

Disconnect, tag, and lockout power supply to the starter

Remove screws holding the top plate to the separator housing

Lift the top plate from the separator housing

Lift the separator from the separator housing

Inspect and/or replace the separator as necessary

Disconnect, lockout and tagout the unit from the power supply

Remove the relief plug and free hole of hardened grease

Add grease with a hand-operated grease gun

Leave the relief plug temporarily off

Is the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' LED illuminated?

Ensure you have a genuine Gardner Denver air filter element available.

Unfasten the clips and pull out the filter element.

Visually inspect the filter element. Is cleaning necessary?

Soak the element in warm water with mild non-sudsing detergent for 15 minutes.

Observe if the unit loads and unloads properly
