Raise system operating pressure to 75% of the relief valve set pressure

Manually open the relief valve with the hand lever and hold for a few seconds

Ensure the relief valve snaps shut properly

Check shutdowns for proper operation

Is the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' LED illuminated?

Ensure genuine Gardner Denver air filter elements are available.

Filter Element Removal and Inspection

Unfasten the clips and pull out the filter element.

Visually inspect the filter element for cleaning necessity.

Soak the element in warm water with mild non-sudsing detergent for 15 minutes.

Rinse the element thoroughly with clean water, ensuring water pressure does not exceed 40 psig (2.8 bar).

Place a bright light inside the filter element to inspect for ruptures, cracks, or pinholes.

Check for any visible ruptures, cracks, or pinholes in the pleated media.

Measure the pressure drop through the filter with a freshly cleaned element while the compressor is running at full load.

Is the pressure drop below three (3) inches (76 mm) of water?

Determine if the filter element needs replacement

Is the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' message displayed?

Check the condition of the air filter

Clean the air filter if it is dirty

Replace the air filter if it is damaged

Is the air filter properly installed?

Reset the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' message if applicable

Enter the current reservoir oil level

Does the unit load and unload properly?

Enter the discharge temperature
