Ensure not to overfill the motor or pump thrust bearings with grease

Record the bearing temperature after lubrication

Verify impeller balance requirement

Check if impeller was trimmed by customer

Determine maximum acceptable unbalance

Identify impeller type for balance method

Confirm balancing to ISO 1940 Grade 6.3 tolerance

Record any deviations from balance criteria

Ensure all tools are accounted for

Verify the following conditions before lubrication

Enter the amount of grease for Intermediate Bearings [3020.1] in grams

Enter the amount of grease for Bottom Bearing [3020.2] in grams

Is the lubrication process complete for all bearings?

Ensure proper lubrication to prevent bearing failures, pump seizures, and pump failure.

Ensure clean liquid from an external source is used for lubrication

Verify continuous liquid supply during operation

Check connections to lubrication fittings on pump manifold [3869] and mounting plate [6130]

Measure flushing fluid flow rate per bearing

Measure flushing fluid flow rate for Group 3

Verify flushing fluid pressure is between 1.4 kg/cm² to 5.6 kg/cm² (20 PSIG to 80 PSIG) above sump pressure

Ensure rubber bearings are wet at all times during operation

Verify all components are in place

Ensure grease is water-resistant and insoluble in the liquid being pumped

Enter the amount of grease for Intermediate Bearings [3020.1]

Enter the amount of grease for Bottom Bearing [3020.2]

Re-grease each bearing prior to start-up through the grease fittings

Ensure proper lubrication to prevent bearing failures, pump seizures, and pump failure
