Re-grease driver bearings before starting the pump

Consult the manufacturer's directions for lubricating instructions

Select the recommended grease for motor

Is the discharge pressure gauge reading normal?

Is there any abnormal noise or vibration?

Check bearing lubricating liquid, sealing, and cooling liquid flows

Check for leaks and seal functionality

Enter remaining hours before lubricant change is required

Close control valve in discharge line

Lock out power supply to driver

Disconnect all electrical connections

Close all valves on auxiliary equipment and piping then disconnect all auxiliary piping

Disconnect discharge piping from pump

Remove coupling guard and coupling halves

Ensure the following storage conditions are met

Turn the pump shaft at regular intervals to prevent brinelling of the bearings and the seal faces from sticking

Consult Flowserve for preservative actions if storage exceeds 6 months

Short Term Storage and Packaging

Verify packaging and protection measures

Ensure the pump is stored in a covered, dry location

Check for any leaks from gaskets and seals

Verify the correct functioning of the shaft seal
