Thrust Bearing Temperature Check
Is the bearing temperature between 80–94°C (175–200°F)?
Select the lubrication group based on re-lubrication amounts
Lubricate the external duplex angular contact thrust bearing [3031] through the grease fitting [3853.2]
Recommended grease used
Caution: Do not overfill the motor or pump thrust bearings with grease

5.1 Pre-commissioning procedure
Check that all pre-commissioning parts are in place
Rotate the shaft by hand to ensure all rotating parts move freely and there are no foreign objects in the pump casing

Ensure the pump is primed
Start and regulate all flush lines
Start the driver (electric motor)
Slowly open the discharge valve until the desired flow is reached
Check all joints and mechanical seal for leakage
