Lubrication Compatibility Check

Is the system using polyester (POE) oil?

Is the system free from mineral oil or alkylbenzene lubricants?

Charge the system with OEM recommended lubricant for R-410A

Verify the system is ready for use with R-410A

Unscrew the filter from the probe

Rinse the filter under warm water until clean

Use warm soapy water if necessary

Screw the filter back into the probe

Ensure the filter is screwed all the way into the probe

Ensure all necessary equipment is available

Is the system designed to charge vapor normally?

Install a valve in the charging line to flash liquid to vapor if necessary

Enter the superheat value (degrees)

Is the superheat value between 8 to 14 degrees?

Install field sensors and land wires on the terminal block

LOCKOUT/TAGOUT all power sources prior to wiring or servicing the unit

Disconnect electric power before servicing equipment

Check unit configuration settings prior to operating the unit

Open water valves to full-open position and turn on power to the conditioner

Enable trending if an SD card is installed in the main control board

Assign installed sensors a corresponding analog input

Check filters at 60-day intervals for the first year

Can light be seen through the filter when held up to sunlight or a bright light?

Is filter replacement required based on light visibility?

Replace the filter if necessary

Describe any adjustments to the filter check standards based on experience
