Pre-Decontamination Safety Measures

Disconnect the chamber from the power supply by pulling the power plug.

Ensure no decontamination agents that may react with device components are used.

Select the disinfectant used for decontamination

Spray the inner chamber with an appropriate disinfectant.

Ensure the chamber is absolutely dry and ventilated before start-up.

Was the inner chamber strongly contaminated?

Check the status display on the rear panel

Turn off the chamber at the main power switch and disconnect the power plug.

Wear protective gloves and goggles.

Ensure no water or cleaning agents are spilled over the inner and outer surfaces.

Select cleaning agents for exterior surfaces, inner chamber, racks, door gaskets

Select cleaning agents for instrument panel

Select cleaning agents for zinc coated hinge parts, rear chamber wall

Wipe the surfaces with a moistened towel.

Turn off the chamber at the main power switch

Ensure the chamber does not become wet during maintenance

Confirm the rear panel of the chamber is not removed

Verify personnel qualifications

Inspect the condenser fan for dust accumulation

Clean the condenser fan thoroughly

Turn off the chamber at the main power switch

Ensure the chamber does not become wet during operation or maintenance

Confirm the rear panel of the chamber is not removed

Verify maintenance work is conducted by licensed electricians or authorized experts

Ensure refrigeration system maintenance is conducted by qualified personnel trained according to EN 13313:2010

Open the left maintenance access flap
