Ensure the level of disinfection is achieved according to requirements

Rinse the centrifuge and all affected accessories with water

Allow the centrifuge and accessories to fully drain and dry

Treat the entire surface of aluminum parts including the cavities with corrosion protection oil (70009824)

Ensure no one is put at risk in case of contamination

Verify that the disinfection agent or method will not damage the equipment

Contact the manufacturer of the disinfection agent if in doubt

Use the supplied grease for lubrication

Fill the cavities with approx. 10 ml of carbonated mineral water

Close the rotor as per handling instructions

Shake the rotor vigorously by hand without applying pressure to the lid

Check for leaks by observing escaping water or hearing escaping gas

Replace seals if any leaks are detected and repeat the test

Ensure decontamination level is achieved according to requirements

Rinse the centrifuge and all affected accessories with water

Treat the entire surface of aluminum parts including the cavities with corrosion protection oil (70009824)

Ensure no one is at risk during decontamination

Verify that the decontamination agent or method will not damage the equipment

Contact manufacturer if in doubt about decontamination agent

Ensure all parts are ready for cleaning

Clean rotor, buckets, and accessories outside of the centrifugation chamber

Separate rotor, buckets, lids, tubes, and sealing rings for thorough cleaning

Rinse rotor and accessories with warm water and neutral detergent

Use a soft brush without metal bristles to remove stubborn residue

Rinse rotor and accessories with distilled water

Place rotors on a plastic grate with cavities pointing down to drain and dry

Press the large seal in the outer groove of the rotor body (top detail)

Press the small seal into the groove of the rotor collar (bottom detail)

Ensure that the rotor lid closes securely

Is the rotor lid damaged or dulled?
