Ensure the following conditions are met before starting

Is all electrical power disconnected from the unit?

Disconnect piping from coil headers

Remove coil and motor side panels

Is it necessary to remove the opposite side panel for sensor or screw access?

Sensor and Switch Disconnection

Disconnect the following switches and sensors

Push the Test button on the WZS sensor

Check LED5 on the sensor for battery strength indication

Push the Test button on the WDS sensor

Check the display for battery life expectancy symbol

Acknowledge understanding of safety warnings

Disconnect all electrical power including remote disconnects

Discharge all energy storing devices such as capacitors

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures

Manually rotate the fan wheel to check for obstructions

Remove any obstructions and debris from the fan housing

Ensure batteries are not recharged

Ensure sensor is not connected to a power supply

Ensure batteries are not installed backwards

Ensure batteries are not disassembled, charged, or exposed to water, fire, or high temperature

Ensure batteries are kept away from children

Choose method to remove nylon standoffs

If using the latch method, will the standoffs be retained on the metal panel?

Handling VelociTach Motor Control Board

Use an ESD protection wrist-strap

Touch a grounded surface frequently to discharge static buildup

Replace connectors carefully onto the appropriate board

Is the green wire attached to the engine board white connector?
