Manually rotate the fan wheel to check for obstructions in the housing or interference with fan blades

Remove any obstructions and debris

Choose method for removing nylon standoffs

If using latch method, are standoffs retained on the metal panel?

Handling VelociTach Motor Control Board

Use ESD protection wrist-strap?

Touch a grounded surface to discharge static buildup

Replace connectors carefully onto the appropriate board

Is the green wire attached to the engine board white connector?

Is a qualified licensed electrician present for live electrical work?

Inspect the unit casing for chips and corrosion

Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects before servicing.

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be inadvertently energized.

Verify that no power is present with a voltmeter.

Check fan wheel set screws whenever a component is removed or an adjustment is made.

Refer to Table 44 for recommendations and note any adjustments made.

Check for evidence of standing water or condensate overflow

Check that condensate drains as designed
