Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects before servicing.

Verify that no power is present with a voltmeter.

Inspect fan motors for excessive vibration.

Inspect fan motors for excessive temperature.

Apply glass cleaner to a soft, non-abrasive cloth

Gently wipe the sensor face, including buttons and LCD display

Use a premoistened towelette designed for lens or screen cleaning (optional)

Ensure no solution is sprayed directly on the sensor

Avoid pressing Occupied/Unoccupied buttons during cleaning

Ensure not to recharge the batteries

Ensure not to hook up the sensor to a power supply

Use two non-rechargeable 1.5 V lithium AA batteries

Use only UL-listed lithium batteries

If the sensor is not used for an extended period, choose an action

Ensure all electrical power is disconnected, including remote disconnects.

Discharge all energy storing devices such as capacitors.

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.

If working with live electrical components, ensure a qualified licensed electrician is present.

Manually rotate the fan wheel to check for obstructions in the housing or interference with fan blades.

Remove any obstructions and debris from the fan wheel.

Ensure all electrical power is disconnected

Discharge all energy storing devices such as capacitors

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures

Observe unit for any change in running condition
