Battery Discharge and Monitoring

Disconnect CardioServ from the power line

Discharge fully charged battery in monitoring mode by setting energy selector switch to (SpO2 sensor not connected) and wait until device switches off

Record the time taken for the battery to deplete (in hours)

Is the battery depletion time less than 1.8 hours?

Recharge the battery for 16 hours

Ensure the following maintenance checks are performed

Ensure the device is powered off

Disconnect the following cables

Remove Screening Plate and Insulating Card

Remove the screening plate fixed by a screw and 5 plastic catches

Connect SPO2 power cord 701 240 31 to a SPO2 probe on the Defi.

Connect finger probe to test subject (tester).

Switch simulator power switch to off.

Connect connector cable between simulator and CardioServ monitor.

Set SpO2 to 95.5% using the white Nellcor scale.

Connect the electrode cable to the Defi

Use a standard ECG signal generator to generate ECG signals

Does the ECG and heart rate appear on the display?

Are the upper and lower limits enabled?

Disconnect plug-in connector to display illumination

Pull the zero power connector safety catch upwards

Disconnect membrane keypad lead

Remove the display fastening screws

Is the display screen completely detached?

Describe any issues encountered during removal
