Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner 4750A-1

Have a Phillips screwdriver available

Assemble the rear housing to the base using a long screw

Attach the tool caddy to the rear housing using 2 short screws

Attach the handle to the top of the tool caddy using a long screw

Secure the hose assembly to the hose connection on the rear housing with 2 short screws

Thread the hose inside the lower hose retainer and attach it to the rear housing with a short screw

Remove hose from hose retainer on the base

Check suction at end of hose - is there little or no suction?

Check and empty dust bag if needed

Remove electrical cord from cord hooks

Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical cord before replacing belt.

Ensure motor shaft is cool before proceeding.

Lower handle to floor to change belt.

Remove two screws to release hood and lift hood to expose belt and brushroll.

Lift left end of brushroll and pull out of base.

Clean debris from brushroll area.

Lower handle and remove two screws from lens cover

Support socket with one hand and pull light bulb straight out to release

Place new light bulb into socket; push to secure

Unscrew the two screws on the side of the Turbo Nozzle

Clear blockage from brush roll area
