Sensor Replacement
Receiver Removal
Press in the retention tabs on the underside of the receiver enclosure
Push the receiver upward to remove it
Device Disassociation Confirmation
Confirm that the device is disassociated (see Table 46, p. 128 and Table 47, p. 128)
New Device Setup
Set the rotary address switch of the new device to match the address of the remaining sensor or receiver
Apply power to the new device

Ensure no glass cleaner or solution is sprayed directly on the sensor
Cleaning Instructions
Apply glass cleaner to a soft, non-abrasive cloth
Gently wipe the sensor face, including buttons and LCD display
Use a premoistened towelette designed for lens or screen cleaning, if preferred
Avoid pressing Occupied/Unoccupied buttons on the WDS sensor

Safety Precautions
Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects, before servicing.
Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be inadvertently energized.
Verify that no power is present with a voltmeter.
Fan Wheel Set Screws Check
Check fan wheel set screws whenever a component is removed or an adjustment is made.
Refer to Table 44 for recommendations and note any adjustments made.
ECM Components Replacement
Safety Precautions
Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects and discharge all motor start/run capacitors before servicing.
Verify with a CAT III or IV voltmeter rated per NFPA 70E that all capacitors have discharged.
Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures are followed.
Replacement Guidelines
Wait five minutes after power removal before approaching fan wheels.
Unplug the motor to ensure no power request.
Make initial hookups to the CSTI and standard adapter board with power off.
Avoid making or removing connections to motors or adapter boards while power is ON.
