Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects, before servicing.

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Verify that no power is present with a voltmeter.

Check fan wheel set screws whenever a component is removed or an adjustment is made.

Refer to Table 44 for recommendations and note any adjustments made.

Disconnect all electrical power to the unit

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Use a soft brush to remove loose debris from both sides of the coil

Install a block-off to prevent spray from going through the coil

Acknowledge understanding of safety warnings and procedures

Disconnect all electrical power including remote disconnects

Discharge all energy storing devices such as capacitors

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures

Is a qualified licensed electrician present for live electrical work?

Unit Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect the unit casing for chips and corrosion

Ensure not to recharge the batteries

Ensure not to hook up the sensor to a power supply

Use two non-rechargeable 1.5 V lithium AA batteries

Use only UL-listed lithium batteries

Ensure batteries are not installed backwards

Do not disassemble, charge, or expose batteries to water, fire, or high temperature

Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects, before servicing.

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be inadvertently energized.

Disconnect all electrical power to the unit.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Vacuum the section with a HEPA filter vacuum device.

Clean contaminated areas with a mild bleach and water solution or an EPA-approved sanitizer.
