Remove the drainage pipes A from the inside of the oil collecting container B and place them on the coolant tank

Ensure the coolant tank is positioned to catch any oil spillage

Empty the container B following the general rules for the correct oil disposal

Is the oil disposal completed according to the guidelines?

Check the level control of the oil container

Shut off air by the cutoff valve B

Check condensation level in glass D

Is condensation level acceptable?

Drain condensation through valve E if necessary

Check lubrication oil level in glass F

Is lubrication oil level above 1/4?

Wear thick, cut-proof and high-resistance gloves

Do not use a hammer to lock or unlock the frontal lock ring

Remove the live-spindle from the machine

Block the live-spindle on the body square part

Use the two spanners Q and R to unlock the frontal lock ring

Is greasing the self-centering chuck required?

Grease the self-centering chuck if required

Ensure no compressed air is used on the chuck and spindle front flange

Check the machine for any abnormal situations

Inform supervisor if any abnormal situation is found

Inject grease in the three lubricators A on the chuck body

Record the number of hours since last greasing

Is more frequent greasing needed due to chips with problems?

Verify the type of grease used against the User’s guide supplied by manufacturer
