Gently flex the curtain in the center and remove it from the right side

Depress tabs on right and left side of the water trough

Allow front of water trough to drop as you pull forward to disengage the rear pins

Pull the water level probe straight down to disengage

Lower the water level probe until the wiring connector is visible

Preparation and Safety Precautions

Ensure safety equipment is worn

Ensure ice machine top cover is removed if necessary

Open the front door to access the evaporator compartment

Select method to remove ice from evaporator

Remove all ice from the bin/dispenser

Ensure the area around the ice machine is clear of obstructions

Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in water to remove dust and dirt

Is there any greasy residue remaining?

Use a damp cloth rinsed in a mild dish soap and water solution to remove greasy residue

Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth

Ensure the following are not used on exterior panels and plastic trim pieces

Ensure you have read and understood all labels on the Manitowoc Ice Machine Cleaner and Sanitizer bottles.

Ensure you are wearing rubber gloves and safety goggles or face shield.

Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedure

Disassemble the ice machine and bin.

Use Manitowoc Ice Machine Cleaner to clean the machine and bin.

Use Manitowoc Ice Machine Sanitizer to sanitize the machine and bin.

Discard all ice produced during the cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

Mix a solution of Manitowoc ice machine cleaner and water (2 ounces of cleaner to 16 ounces of water) in a container

Clean all probe surfaces including all plastic parts (do not use abrasives)

Thoroughly rinse probes with clean water
