Resistance Adjustment Procedure

Enter the current resistance percentage displayed on the Indoor Cycle computer

Is the resistance set to the desired level?

Ensure shoes are placed in the toe clips or connected with SPD cleats

Confirm that you are pedaling in a forward motion only

Press down the red resistance/emergency knob to stop the flywheel in an emergency

Spray maintenance spray onto a soft cloth

Clean all plastic parts with the cloth

Clean the entire flywheel with the cloth

Clean exposed framework parts including stabilizers with the cloth

Clean the plastic casing with the cloth

Ensure no maintenance spray is sprayed directly onto the flywheel or pedal

Record any issues or observations during cleaning

Ensure the Indoor Cycle is leveled and does not rock

Adjust the leveling if necessary (refer to p. 21)

Ensure availability of cleaning materials

Disinfect the saddle and handlebars with a suitable agent

Wipe all bodily residues off the entire Indoor Cycle

Was the recommended acid- and solvent-free maintenance agent used?

Check the emergency brake for proper functioning by pressing down the resistance/brake lever while pedalling.

Position the vertical saddle post in the uppermost position.

Spray the vertical and horizontal saddle posts with maintenance spray.

Rub down the entire exterior surfaces of the saddle posts with a soft cloth.

Clean sweat residues off the contact surfaces of the horizontal saddle post.

Apply a small amount of lithium grease if necessary.

Ensure the bike is on a stable surface

Check that pop-pin-knobs for height adjustment are tightened

Verify thumb levers for horizontal adjustment are closed

Sit on the saddle and move pedals to horizontal position

Is the knee of the forward-facing leg directly above the center of the pedal?

Adjust the horizontal saddle position
