Optical Drive Removal
Preparation
Turn off the computer
Disconnect the power cords from electrical outlets
Disconnect all cables connected to the monitor and computer
Optical Drive Removal
Pivot the optical drive bay cover to the right to open it
Slide the optical drive to the left to remove it from the monitor
Disconnect the optical drive cable from the USB connector on the computer
Remove the optical drive from the bay
Full-Function Monitor Stand Adjustment

Pull out the latch that secures the stand before adjusting the height
Read the instructions on the label of the latch

Rear Wi-Fi Antenna Removal
Cable Cover Removal
Gently hold the cable cover 1
Slide the latch to the right to open the cable cover
Antenna Removal
Pivot the rear Wi-Fi antenna downward at an angle of about 90°
Hold the thicker end of the rear Wi-Fi antenna
Unscrew the antenna from the computer
Note any issues encountered during removal
Full-Function Monitor Stand Removal
Preparation
Place a soft, clean towel or cloth on the desk or surface.
Hold the sides of your monitor and gently lay it down so that the screen is against the surface and the cover is facing up.
Stand Removal
Dig the two rubber cushions out with something pointed.
Remove two screws covered by the two rubber cushions.
Remove the full-function monitor stand.
