Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer.

Disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables connected to the computer.

Remove the storage drive bracket.

Locate the memory module to be replaced.

Open the retaining clips and gently pull the memory module out of the memory slot.

Insert the notched end of the new memory module into the slot and press firmly until it snaps into place.
