Remove the breather assembly from the top of the bearing housing by unthreading the complete assembly at the threaded bushing.

Separate the breather cover from the mounting bushing by unscrewing the cover from the bushing.

Clean the assembly with solvent.

Blow dry the assembly with compressed air.

Clamp the brace being removed to the mounting tabs at both ends using a C-clamp.

Hold the hex nuts from below and remove all 3/4” capscrews holding the brace to the support frame.

Support the cross brace and remove the C-clamps from one end at a time while lowering the brace.
