Rough Terrain Variable Reach Truck Adjust
WARNING: Loads can fall off incorrectly spaced forks. Always space the forks correctly for the load. Make sure the forks are completely under the load before lifting.
CAUTION: The forks are heavy. Make sure suitable lifting equipment is used to support and transport them.
Loosen the fork clamping screws
Space the forks as wide as possible to suit the load
Tighten the fork clamping screws
Sign off on the fork adjustment procedure
Lift Arm Lowered
Machine parked on level, solid ground
Lift arm retracted and lowered
Attachment put flat on the ground
Engine stopped and ignition key removed
Battery disconnected to prevent accidental operation of the engine
Blocks put against the two sides of the wheels before getting below the machine
Lift Arm Raised
Machine parked on level, solid ground
Loads and attachments removed
Stabiliser legs deployed (if installed)
Lift arm raised and retracted, maintenance strut installed
Warning: Lower the arm carefully onto the strut to prevent possible damage
Engine stopped and ignition key removed
If the keyless ignition option is installed, stop the engine and wait for 15 seconds
Battery disconnected to prevent accidental operation of the engine
Sign off on the lift arm raised procedure
