1 Yearly Fire Extinguisher Service

Check mark

Check the fire extinguisher for damage, security and signs of leaking

Check mark

Check that the gauge B indicates that the extinguisher is charged ie. the needle is in the GREEN segment

Check mark

Note: If the needle is in or very near the RED segment at either end of the gauge, the extinguisher must be serviced or replaced

Make sure the safety pin is fitted and secure

The extinguisher should be serviced every 12 months by a suitably qualified person

Loader Cleaning

Check mark

Park the machine on firm level ground, engage the parking brake and set the transmission to neutral. Lower the attachments to the ground and stop the engine

Clean the machine using water and/or steam. Do not allow mud, debris etc to build upon the machine, pay particular attention to the following areas:

Radiator grille not clogged up?

WARNING! Airborne particles of light combustible material such as straw, grass, wood shavings, etc. must not be allowed to accumulate within the engine compartment or in the propshaft guards (when fitted). Please inspect these areas frequently and clean at the beginning of each work shift or more often if required. Before opening the engine cover, ensure that the top is clear of debris

1 Daily Wheel Nut Check

1. On new machines, and whenever a wheel has been removed, check the wheel nut torques every two hours until they stay correct
