Ensure all cylinders are in the retracted position

Remove the hydraulic tank dipstick by unscrewing the filler cap

Wipe the dipstick clean with a clean, lint-free cloth

Re-insert the dipstick in the dipstick tube

Remove the dipstick again to check the fluid level

Check the condition and integrity of the mounting kit components

Are there any cracks or corrosion on the structural components of the transport vehicle around the mounting kit?

Inspect all welds on and around the mounting kit for issues

Are all mounting bolts present, tight, and in good condition?

Mounting Pockets and Fork Supports

Is there noticeable thinning of the material on the mounting pockets and fork supports?

Grease the following components

Check for damage and loose or missing bolts on the following components

Is the integrity of the mount intact?

Caution: Ensure Engine is Off and Cool

Ensure the engine is turned off and cool before starting the procedure.

Refer to Fig. 8B for visual guidance.

Turn the shut-off valve handle to the horizontal position.

Depress the throttle pedal all the way and hold for five seconds.

Place a drip pan under the filters to catch any spilling fuel.
